It's mostly that so long as you have a main DPS that's appropriate for the encounter you are in, a Support's TYPE (not element, which is important) matters little to almost not at all, as they are only there for buff/debuff applications while ALL the intended damage comes form your DPSs

Starcasm Nyx has incredibly rare weather, and the only Fire/QUA unit is the A-rank base Valkyrie Gloria.

Quantum, for example, even now only barely has 5 units total, and Even one of the three S-rank valks is considered Support (Fallen Rosemary) rather than primary DPS (she works fine in the role once SS, but that takes time, eeven though she's a free S-rank unit) While Stygian Nymph has dfropped off the meta. It's only late game when you need to have specific combinations for specific weather patterns, which is why out of the now 20 possible combinations, only around 13-14 actually exist, as IMG is too new, and while we have one of each ELEMENT for it finally with the release of electric Eden, only one, Palatinus Equinox (PHY/IMG), is actually a DPS unit, even if Reverist Calico is relatively good at faking it for ICE/IMG with a signature PRI-ARM of it's own. You're going to have easy access to a whole lot of easily farmable, mostly META, SP valkyries that will support every element (including PHY, but excluding fire, don't ask me why) so you can very quickly build viable teams.īasically, when starting out, you want to have at minimum, one main DPS of each of the four "elements" (Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Physical), and one main DPS of each main TYPE (BIO, MECHA, PSY, QUA, IMG) and the combinations between element and type don't actually matter til mid-to late game repeatable content. They should never be on the same team, unless you're abusing a specific set of stigs on eden, which would be super-situational at best. Swallow Phantasm is a physical (quantum) DPS, Eden is a lightning (Imaginary) support. Since the whole point of party composition in this game is to have an on-element DPS unit, and two supports that explicitly help to make that DPS unit do more damage (generally via various stacking buffs and debuffs from both valk skills and stig triggers), mixed teams.well, outside of extremely rare weather patterns are kinda useless outside of slumming open-world activities. So try not to build mixed teams, as they not only don't help, they actively hurt you. While you're early enough that iit really doesn't matter (the content is comedically easy in early story mode), it's just not a good mindset to develop, even early on. Sorry for the long post lmao hope it helped The best and funnest part of it early game for me was getting excited over getting new valks and trying out their pkay styles and see what new combos I could do. It’s a pretty accurate portrayal of the meta, though I also wouldn’t take it TOO seriously because it takes a lot of fun out of the game, in my opinion. Give them a try to see who’s play style you like mostįor DPS, go look at Marisa Honkai’s Valkyrie tier list. These valks are Haxxor Bunny (ice off field support), Pardofelis (ice freeze support, battery, general elemental support), Fishcl (off field lightning), Eden (lightning support), Fallen Rosemary (paralyse and lightning support, faster but slightly weaker than Eden), Midnight Absinthe (fire ult support).

The meta supports + sub dps as of now are all essentially free/ farmable (very minimal grinding), but require higher ranks (SS or SSS) to get to their full potential. Here, a team is mainly composed of 1 DPS + 2 supports. Ice, fire and lightning are the 3 elements in honkai. Next, you should get started on elemental teams. But then again, you also have to make sure you got enough for HOS, so I’ll let you decide on that.

You could pull for griseo’s gears next patch to get the most value out of your pulls, as all her gear will have a 30 pull guarantee and you won’t get dupes. Since you like SP and will get HOS, you’re 2/3 to a physical team. If you mean in general (the “everything else” part), then you should probably make a functional team first. You mean for her gear? If so, her gloves > stigmata
